Twenty (20) Community Radio (RC) journalists from the central part of the country are benefiting from training in communication and Fact-Checking on Covid-19.Rodrigues Tatos, Program Assistant at H2N Mozambique explains that the training aims to raise awareness and educate communities, through the dissemination of interactive radio programs and community mobilizations, about prevention measures, myths and misinformation about the covid-19 pandemic.
The activity falls within the scope of the extension of the Community Radio Project in order to provide journalists with knowledge in terms of prevention against covid-19.
The participants were satisfied with the initiative and promise to do everything they can to transmit everything they learn during the training, as it will be of great importance in the continuation of their daily activities.
The training of journalists in the central zone, lasts for 5 days and is implemented by h2n with funding from the Norwegian Embassy in Mozambique.
